The skydive we had been planning for so long in memory of Shane took place on Saturday 22nd February. The day after what would have been Shane's 40th birthday. It was a beautiful day. Family and friends were out in force to support us. We have started to collect our sponsor money now and we are absolutely overwhelmed, this is in addition to the fantastic amounts of money pledged online as well, that site alone has nearly £2000 on it. I am so proud to have been asked by Meningitis Now to share our story. But this was not about me, this has been all about Shane, his hopes and the disease that cruelly took him. This has been about raising awareness and it has touched me that so many people have contacted the charity to ask for symptoms cards and further information since our skydive campaign began. Shane is always in our thoughts and hearts. Always will be. I just hope no one else has to face what we have. It's devastating. Thanks again to everyone who has supported us. Kerran
